Jami and her husband Brian served several years in Kenya, where God opened their hearts and minds to the Muslim world. In addition to immersing herself in the local Somali community, Jami also supported those working in closed countries globally and authored stories of God’s redemptive love for Muslims. It was in this context Jami was exposed to matters of deep trauma in her own life and that of her new friends.
After returning to the United States, Jami joined the staff of Crescent Project as the Director of Women’s Training, where she and her team helped train thousands of Christian women to reach out to Muslim women around the world.
Through this training ministry, Jami discovered a large segment of the Western Church still resists the idea of sharing Christ with anyone and began to recognize the obstacles trauma installed in all women, robbing them of Peace and Joy. Jami founded The Truth Collective in order to bring all women to a whole-hearted pursuit of Truth and enjoy the God Who is With us each and every day.
Jami graduated from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN with a degree in Communications and a minor in Biblical and Theological Studies. Jami, Brian, and their two sons currently live in South Carolina.
Using the metaphor of our bedrooms as the inner most chamber of our hearts, Jami Staples invites us to experience True Rest in the presence of Jesus Christ.
