Noushi
Noushi is a native Iranian who grew up as a Muslim. At 18 she came to America to go to college. Tragedy struck when her father was diagnosed with Leukemia. While trying to navigate the US government for a visa for her father, as a college student in a foreign country, she reached the end of herself. At that point she turned to God, and found Him waiting for her with open arms so in 1985 Noushi became a follower of Jesus. After taking a semester off to care for her father, she returned to college and completed her degrees in Architecture and French Literature. Upon finishing college, she was issued a deportation order by the US government. God came through for her again in miraculous fashion as she won a landmark trial and was granted asylum based on her faith.
After a few decades as a Christian worker and leader in an American church, God called her to minister to Muslims, and in particular to Iranians. She has co-led a Persian home church in Farsi since 2015. In addition, Noushi speaks at conferences across the country on the position of women in Islam. With passion and knowledge, she contrasts the Bible and the Qur’an, revealing the freedom offered to all who place their trust in Christ.
Can a Muslim woman ask any question about Islam or are there limits to the questions one can ask? And can I ask that same question of the Bible?
