The primary purpose of the human brain is to create attachment.  If that doesn’t sound super revolutionary to you, it’s because you know God has been saying exactly that for centuries. 

We are created in His image - and He is a relational God who will give His own life to achieve perfect attachment with His children.  He has written it into our DNA - we cannot help but long for attachment with Him and with one another.
